Official Date

Taun's Pov:

After she whispered "Yes", everything around me blurred—except her. The crowd, the cheers, Rehan's wolf-whistle—noting mattered. All I saw Trisha Sharma, Standing in front of me with flushed cheeks, blinking like I'd just rewritten her world.

Damn. I really did it.

I take her to her home, I can't just take he like this, I need permission of her parents. And she must need to change her dress.

But this wasn't it. I had plan. Not just date. But A Memory.

In the car is just silence, which speaks too much, she is clutching seatbelt like her last hope. Her flushed cheeks.... uffff.

As she saw her home, she looks at me with questioning gaze, I love it when we both don't need words to express our feeling.

"Aa... vo mujhe permissions leni hai tumhare parents se."

(Uh... I need to get permission from your parents.)

She just looks into my eyes; not just eyes she is looking directly in my soul. This is something different in her eyes, the emotions it holds. The way she is looking at me. I scratch back of my neck in nervousness.

She smiles and steps out the car. We both enter in home. She immediately ran towards kitchen, where her mom is preparing food.

I sat on sofa in hall. I was never nervous ever before, not even when I am first time handling meeting.

Relex Tarun, it will going to be easy...I exhale a sharp breath.

Just then her mother along with her enter in the hall.

"Tarun beta you came. Kese ho beta" Aunty asked me.

"Good aunty, aap kesi ho"

She just give me polite smile.

OK, now ask Tarun... I look at Trisha who is standing behind her gesturing me to ask.

"Hmm, aunty, ...vo.."

"han bolo beta"

(Yes, child.)

"vo.. aunty... " I look at Trisha whose expression change in irritation. "Uncle nahi hai ghar par".

What the hell. Ye kya bol rha hai Tarun.

("Uncle is not at home." What the hell. What are you saying Tarun?)

"Hmm, beta vo to office hai na abhi.., vese tum Trisha ko college se le kar aye" Trisha slap on her head. And I am looking everything but her.

("Hmm, son, she is at the office right now..., by the way, you should pick up Trisha from college.")

"Ji aunty...mujhe aap se kuch puchna tha"

("Yes aunty... I wanted to ask you something.")

I gather all ounce of my courage.

"I want to take Trisha on a date."

Silence.

She blinks.

I blink.

Trisha blinks.

"Wow... Ye to bhut achi baat hai tum dono ne koi step to liya" Aunty get super exited which I never expected. "Why are you looking at our faces, go and get ready." She told her.

(Wow... This is really great; you both have taken some step.)

"Tarun to tum isiliye Ravi ke bare me puch rahe the"

("So that's why you were asking about Ravi, Tarun")

"Ji aunty"

(Yes, aunty)

"Usme puch ne ka kya, unhone thodi kabhi pucha tha mere parents se." she said like she is complaing about. "Aur na hi tumhare papa ne pucha tha, Kavya ko date pe lejanae se pehale" We both giggle at her statement.

("Why asking, he never asked my parents a little bit, And neither did your father ask before taking Kavya on a date.")

Then she stops a worker, and move towards me "acha beta kya loge chai ya coffee"

(What will you take, tea or coffee.)

"No aunty I good"

"Are jitni der me vo tiyar ho kar ayegi, utni der me tum 2 cup coffe pee lo" Again laughter erupt, aunty is really different to her.

(By the time she gets ready and comes, you can drink two cups of coffee.)

"Still aunty me uske sath pee lunga, usne bhi kuch nahi khaya subha se." I said this casually, but Aunty looking at me with glitter eyes, like her tear slip at any time.

("Still aunty, I will drink with her, she hasn't eaten anything since morning either.)

"Kya hu aunty... sab thik hai na"

(What happen aunty, everything alright?)

"uska aese hi dhiyan rakho ge na beta" her voice is hoars.

(You'll take care of him like this, won't you, son?)

Aunty, you have no idea what your daughter has done to me.

"Aunty," I reached at her, and take her hand in mine. "Main vaada karta hoon... Trisha ka khyal main usse bhi zyada rakhunga. Ye to bas shurvat hai aunty." I pause, to settle the weight of my words. "aap har maa ki tarah pareshan ho sakti hai, leking main aapko bharosha dilata hoon... aapki beti kabhi akela mehsoos nahi karegi, jab tak mai hoon tab tak to nahi."

("I promise... I will take care of Trisha even more than she does. This is just the beginning, aunty." "You can worry like any mother, but I assure you... your daughter will never feel alone, at least not as long as I am around.")

I smiled at her. I can understand this feeling. I too have sister, which is like my child. And every mom has these fears about their child.

After she left for her rest of the work, I called some of my worker to arrange something outside the house.

After eternity, she desending from the stairs. By the time she got ready and came, I had read the magazine of more than 200 pages twice, that too every line including advertisements.

Ok this might be a bit too much, but if she looks so beautiful, looks so amazing, so dreamy, then she has the right to do it at such a time.

Her chikankari Kurti draped around her like another piece of her. She looks divine in this Peach color kurti, with same color pajama. Her face is shining with the happiness, her minimal makeup enhances her beauty, with the luxury Patek Philippe watch in her hand, her traditional Sandle gives, only her vibes, like real her, full of elegance but still down to the earth with all follow up of traditions.

"Chale, you have been standing like this only for past 10 seconds" her soft voice breaks my dream of her.

I clear my throat, and let her lead the way, of course she will lead my entire life why not start from now.

As we step out the house, and moving towards the car, one of my men give me flower bouquet from behind. She is about to open the door, but I stop her and handed her flowers.

Her eyes widen in Suprise, "When did you get these?"

"I have my ways Chand, but please accept this as 'thank you' for coming with me on a date." She blushed on my answer, and I it takes every ounce of patience to not to pull her cheeks.

The ride is not silent like earlier; I play songs playlist which I arrange in late night.

"You really made a playlist?" she asked, amused.

I shrugged, playing it cool. "I want to make it memorable for you, with my own efforts." she just smiles at my words.

I took her to a private rooftop lounge I had decorated with the help of my event team—fairy lights strung like stars, a low dining table set with, white Sause pasta, her favorite lasagna, and a coffee which she definitely needed after exam, written in small letter "Trisha blushie" on the froth of the coffee.

She stood still wide eyed. "Tarun... what is this?"

"This is what Date looks like with my Chand, I know you have seen more beautiful things, but this is my first time, and I am learning things." I scratch back of my neck in embarrassment. She must have seen more dreamy, more beautiful.

"Indeed, I have seen more beautiful than this, but you know one thing..." I am still. No moments. Just her words.

"That, No one arrange these all things for ME, with carrying so many emotions in heart" she pokes on my chest where my heart thud louder, faster, where she belongs, with her index finger. Her smile and her assurance melt my doubt.

She takes seat and here I am standing where she left me.

"Hey, come fast I am starving!!" she whispers yell at me.

We eat our food with small talks about my future plans in business. Her plans, she wants to go abrod and study her mass communication there. That's a Wonderful idea; more she explores more will she learn her field is like this. There are more people interactions.

After food, I handed her a small velvet box. Inside, a custom moon-shaped pendent with her initials on one side and mine on the other.

She gasped.

"This way, even if cloud comes in between," I said softly, tentative, "your Tarun will always find his moon."

She didn't say a word. She just hugged me. That's it. I am on 9th sky, or I should say, I am beyond sky.

"Tarun this is so beautiful. But..." she is little sad for something and a strange feeling of kill that something. "I do not bring anything for you as a first date." She completed.

Oh, my girl.

"Trisha..." I said softly, and held her hand in mine, where they fit perfect. "You, yourself enough for me, here I am very happy that you accept this, Trisha I don't have words to explain that, when the first time you enter in my life it's like... I am alive for the first time; it's like I have just started to live."

She exhales, her lips parted, like begging me to be kissed Right now. I take this urge back. "Trisha you are the very special gift for me I don't need anything than you. And please don't be sad for this stupid reason."

She just nodded with the warming smile. She really doesn't need to bring anything as a symbol of her she always lives in my heart rent free.

We step out the restaurant, its evening, beautiful weather, sun cast low and just about to down, everywhere is soft orange color spread, It's the most beautiful view I have ever seen or today is something else. Her face is glowing in this light. She held my hands first she hesitates, but the sassy Trisha is always my favorite.

Trisha's Pov:

We are sitting on bench of nearest garden, hand in hand. Looks perfectly another part of mine. He is very different person I ever meet, soft hearted, ambitious, and also strong enough to shield me from the world. What else does a women need. I never wanted to go on movie date or clubbing like. I always wanted to sit with my partner in our own peace. He never complaint me about my behavior, he is accepting me like as I am.

And the way he confesses his feelings, I am the most important person in his life. A warm smile spread across my face. Suddenly my mind went to the box which I am holding, this pendent is not just pendent for me this is his love towards me, I will wear it proudly, without any doubt. For once I thought to kiss him when he is pouring his heart, but of course I need to control my emotions and these bloody hormones.

I turn my face to him and pat his shoulder.

"Tumne ye de to diya leking ise pehnaye ga kon?" I point out towards the pendent. His brows knit together. "arey, I am talking about pendent" I take out form the box and handed to him. "Lo mujhe pehano" and I face my back to him; Slowly I part my hairs and wait for him.

("You did give this, but who will wear it?" "Here, let me wear it.")

The cold metal of pendent make contacts me my warm skin, gesturing that someone surely came to my life, after a long time wait. He carfull wear me the pendent. I touch the moon, "This is so beautiful" I whispers.

"No, this has become beautiful because of you are wearing it."

I never thought in my entire life that this kind of small lines can make me blush. I smile and look down to my lap, like suddenly my Kurti's embroidery are looking so interesting.

"Ab aap aese sharmaygi to gadbad ho jayegi na Chand." Another trickling sensation gone through my body.

("Now if you get shy like this, something might go wrong, Chand.")

We both giggle softly.

This is pure bliss.

This is something I am waiting for.

I love you, Tarun. The urge to say this aloud, is grow more and more, but my overthinking consumes again.

What if I don't get love like my parents?

What if we don't work out like Karan and Sanjana?

What if we do not make idol couple like Rehan and Rehana?

"Trisha" he said softly and entangeld our hands. "Why this much tension, huh" He asked, like always, he understand me.

"Tarun what if We—" My sentence cut by the sudden hit of football on our legs. "ow" a soft gasp let out from my mouth.

"Hey, did you hurt anywhere, show me" he sit down on his knees right there.

"No Tarun, stand up, please, I am not hurt, that was just sudden... you stand up" He is sitting on his knees right near my legs. And this man is not listening to me

"Wow, the great business tycoon on his knees." A cold voice echo in the silence atmosphere. Suddenly, the aura changed, it's become more darker than the evening. That man's face is not seen clearly because of low lights. But as he steps closer to us just a meter away from our bench, all lights of the garden lit up.

And A handsome face appear, with sharp jawlines. No matter how handsome he is but the expression on his face is like cold, rude and arrogant.

"Say, sorry to her." Tarun said, I never hear this cold growl of his. And in the response, that man looks at Tarun like is saying something impossible. Tarun stands up and fix his suit. "Say sorry!" he repeats.

"I never say sorry to anyone, and you better known Gautam." wait they know each other.

"And I don't like to repeat, you better known Agnihotri" Tarun says with equal coldness. Now this is like they gonna fight with each other.

Fun? Of course.

"Never" he is like stone, which is hard to move, and here Tarun is also like mountain.

"Hi Tarun, how are you?" another man came from behind. They both looks like brothers. As per their facial feature. Defiantly not by nature. One is ice cold, rage and rude. And another is like Friendly, cheerful. supportive. maybe?

"Good bhaiya" Tarun answers with polite smile. Bhaiya means another one is elder.

"I am sorry for the ball. Actually, we both are just bored in the hotel so thought to come in garden," Then he moves towards me, in the respect I stand up after all he is elder than Tarun. I need to do. "Sorry! by the way, Hi beautiful. Your choice is so beautiful Tarun" He winks at him. I just mouthed thank you with smile.

"Tarun Gautam with A Girl, not your nature Gautam" that ice man said.

"Kunal Agnihotri in garden, not you cup of tea, Agnihotri." my man answers with same attitude. He rolled his cold black eyes. "just say sorry, Kunal"

"Kunal never say sorry."

Silence.

How rude he is! huh.

"One day you will be on your knees Kunal, remember that." Tarun said determinedly. Isko jese future pata hai. The urge to roast my own boyfriend. This is not good idea. right?

"Over my dead body" he answers.

"Jese tumhe apna future pata hai." bol hi diya na, jaban par to lagam hai nahi. Now his attention is all on me. He glares at me.

(It's like you already know your future." I said it, didn't I? You really have no control over your tongue.)

"I know everything."

"Mr. Kunal, Future is uncertain."

"This is just a sentence. And here whatever I am now is chosen by ME only"

So, fucking rude.

"Let's see, what happen in future, aap bhi yaha hai hum bhi yaha hai"

("Let's see what happens in the future, you are here and I am here too.")

"Hm, I like her attitude, Dekh te hai fir Miss. Trisha Sharma." No, I am not shocked because he is Tarun's friend that is why I am not shocked. It's normal to know my Name.

(Hm, I like her attitude, let's see then, Miss Trisha Sharma.)

After they gone, I turn toward Tarun. "Kya tha ye, aur kon hai ye akadu"

(What was that, and who is this stubborn person?)

"Do you know Rudraksh Agnihotri" He question me back.

"Hmm..." I put efforts on my mind. "yeahh.. that grey hairs and broad shoulder uncle"

"What?"

"hehehe, actually Me and Sanju is searching about good companies for project there we get to know about A businessman, he has grey hairs not whole, but he is elder than my father's age so yeah, and also a good well build body."

"Really Trisha" he laughs softly. "Ok ye dono unke bete hai, Kunal is younger, and Ajay bhai is elder."

"Ohh Bada Ram, Chhota haram." I take a pause to scold my inner self to not say anything abusive now. He just stares me for seconds then.

("Oh, Big Ram, Small scoundrel.")

He laughs.

"But you know what, Kunal is really rude ass, and Ajay bhaiya is soo good, soo nice." he again laughs at my statement.

"Yeah, Kunal is my junior at Dehradun, and Ajay Bhai is my senior. Now leave them and come with me." he shrugs.

We are standing on the roof at some tall building. Where everywhere is flying lanterns. the view is breathtaking. Roof is decorated with white curtains, with fairy lights, there is small table with candles. And the rose petals are covering the floor.

"Tarun.. wow, this is beautiful."

"Not without you." I tried not to blush at his lines.

"Trisha here," he picks up one lantern and handed to me. Then pick his too.

"Whisper a dream into it." He tells me to make a wish, make a dream. But you less know Tarun.

"I already got mine." I said clear and loud enough to hear him. He stares me.

"Trisha Sharma, you're going to be the end of me." I laugh at his statement.

"Let's se MR. Gautam."

And like this our lanterns Fly together.

"Chand, I need to say something." he hesitates and also looks confuse, like he is searching for words.

"Hm bolo." I assure him.

"Look, Trisha." he take my hand in his. "I always have a dream where a girl is holding a photograph of a small child, and she is urging him to come. And she is very sad."

My blood ran cold.

A girl.

With Photo.

It's like suddenly air block to my lunges. I forced myself to take a long breath. It's too suffocating. Too much.

"Trisha, relax, I never seen that girl ever in my dreams. And believe me Trisha, You are my first and last love. Always."

He is stroking my hands, his grip on my hand gets more firm.

"Please Trisha say something, you are scaring me." when I don't say anything for long time he intervenes.

"I believe in you Tarun, you don't need to explain." as my words settle, he immediately hugged me. How much I need this hug you don't know.

We parted after brief minutes. We are too close our body pressed together; he is looking so devastating. The way he looks into my eyes, like I am the gem. I want to cry in his arms, I want to be pampered by him.

He leans forward, our lips just millimeter away, if any of us move and we both end up by Kiss.

"May I" his husky voice send shiver in my whole body. I just nod. And in next moment everything goes blur, only our lips I can feel, nothing else, no world, no people, no one, only us.

The kiss gone deeper with my hand move towards his hairs, I grab them to support myself my knees gone jelly if he is not holding me by my waist I will be on ground.

But the photo in my old diary came to my mind. I am feeling like I am betraying someone else.

I stop kissing him back. He senses me and stops kissing also. But the intensity of his stare, is telling another story.

We drove to the home, in silence. After the kiss, everything is change, our friendly bond again back to an award situation.

"It's really beautiful day with you Tarun. I love it. Thank you."

"You don't need to."

I turn to go inside the house, he stops me.

"Chand, I love you."

Please don't say, I will cry. I force myself to smile.

"Trisha, is something wrong, you change after that Dream conversations" why he always sensed.

"I am good just sleepy, ok then good night"

I don't wait for his response and enter in the house.
